Decrease in the Severity of the Decline in Egypt's Non-Oil Private Sector

The activity of the non-oil private sector in Egypt decreased today, Wednesday, but at a slower pace, amid a slight decline in inflationary pressures. The "S&P Global" Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) for Egypt rose from 47.8 in May to 49.1 in June, but it still remains below the level of fifty, which separates growth from contraction, for the thirty-first consecutive month.
