Earthquake with a Magnitude of 4.5 Strikes Tajikistan

The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre reported seismic activity on Thursday in the Republic of Tajikistan, as stated by "Russia Today." The centre noted that an earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale was recorded. According to the centre's statement, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 82 kilometers southwest of the urban center "Murghab" in eastern Tajikistan, where about 8,500 residents live. The statement highlighted that the focus of the recorded seismic activity was at a depth of 40 kilometers. There have been no reports of injuries or material damage resulting from this earthquake yet.
