A fire broke out early in a 35-story skyscraper in Dubai, close to the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. It was not clear whether the fire resulted in any injuries in the residential building; however, the flames were extinguished by the time an Associated Press correspondent arrived at the scene.
Black marks could be seen as a result of the fire, which extended to the building that is part of a series of towers called “Boulevard Walk 8,” developed by Emaar, the state-backed developer in the emirate.
