A spokesperson for Total Energies revealed that 31% of workers at the major French oil refineries and depots went on strike this Friday morning. Energy Minister Agnès Pannier-Runacher stated today that fuel shipments from the company's Gonfreville refinery in Normandy resumed early this morning after police intervened to disperse workers who had shut it down. The police opened the road to the refinery early this Friday morning to allow employees to go to work.
