Countries Not Invited to King Charles's Coronation

A British source indicated today, Tuesday, that the UK did not invite Russia, Belarus, Iran, Myanmar, Syria, Afghanistan, and Venezuela to attend King Charles's coronation. Invitations were sent to leaders of other countries with which the UK maintains full diplomatic relations, as well as representatives of British Crown territories and regions. Senior diplomats were invited instead of the head of state from both North Korea and Nicaragua.
