The global company "Croda" saw its shares drop by 11%, leading the losses of stocks listed on the "Stoxx" 600 index after the British chemicals company predicted that its annual pre-tax profits would fall short of expectations. The broader European chemicals index fell by 1.3%, leading sector losses.
