After the Dam Collapse: Rescue of Pets in Kherson

Rescue workers are racing to save thousands of animals trapped by floodwaters in the city of Kherson, southern Ukraine, following the destruction of the Kakhovka Dam. Many dogs, cats, and other pets are in danger after being abandoned by their owners who fled from the rushing waters caused by the dam’s collapse. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky mentioned on Wednesday that "thousands and thousands of animals are trapped." While the Russian forces are terrorizing and destroying all living things, we are doing and will continue to do everything to save every living creature! Thousands and thousands of animals are trapped in the flood after the destruction of the dam and other structures.
