The Minister of Agriculture in the caretaker government, Abbas Al-Haj Hassan, met with a high-level delegation from the World Bank, headed by the Vice President of the World Bank Group for the Middle East and North Africa, Farid Belhaj. They coordinated mechanisms for collaboration between the Ministry of Agriculture and the World Bank to develop the agricultural sector in Lebanon, in both plant and animal aspects, in addition to cooperative work and agricultural guidance.
