Shocking Surprise Inside the Box

A shocking surprise awaited a British woman who wanted to delight her daughter for Christmas by gifting her a laptop purchased from Amazon. When she opened the package, she found corn flakes instead of the electronic device. Lizzy Batisson ordered the laptop from the e-commerce company in October to give it to her 10-year-old daughter for Christmas. She kept the box hidden for about two months, only to discover on Wednesday that the parcel contained "the famous breakfast cereal." When she contacted Amazon, the company informed her that the 30-day return period had expired.

After several attempts, Amazon agreed to her refund request and returned Batisson's money, along with £40 in gift vouchers. The woman told the BBC: "My main concern is that there will be a number of children on Christmas morning, opening what their parents think is a tablet or laptop, only to find otherwise, because the parents didn't open the box."
