Title: South Korea Denies Importing Crude Oil from Iran

Preliminary data from the South Korean customs authority showed on Wednesday that Seoul did not import crude oil from Iran in May nor in the previous year. The data also indicated that South Korea, the fifth largest crude oil buyer in the world, imported a total of 11.7 million tons of crude oil last month compared to 10.8 million tons imported a year earlier. The Korea National Oil Corporation will publish the final data on South Korea's crude oil imports later this month.
