The White House revealed today, Friday, that the U.S. has information indicating that Russia is obtaining raw materials from Iran to build a drone factory within Russia that could be fully operational by next year.
The White House noted that Russia appears to be enhancing its defense cooperation with Iran and is receiving hundreds of offensive drones that are being used to carry out strikes in Ukraine.
According to recently declassified information reported by the White House, the drones are manufactured in Iran and shipped across the Caspian Sea to reach Russian forces using them in Ukraine.
Additionally, the U.S. Treasury Department published a guidance on its website today, warning businesses and individuals worldwide against taking any actions that would support Iran's drone manufacturing program.
