Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz issued a stern warning to Iranian leadership on Thursday, stating that any attack targeting Israel, "regardless of its motive and location," will be met with a strong response from Tel Aviv.
In a video released by his office, Katz stated that Israel's response "will inflict significant damage on Iran like it has never experienced before," asserting that this may include targeting the country's critical energy infrastructure.
Meanwhile, Israel is betting on protests within Iran, indicating that "the spark of demonstration is forthcoming."
Katz added that the Israeli military is "fully prepared to carry out the mission" as per the directives of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, claiming that such a strike could set Iran back "decades" and further weaken its stance.
