Visit of Lebanese Ministers to Damascus

On Monday, the newspaper "al-Jumhuriya" reported that the Lebanese Ministers of Social Affairs, Hector Hajjar, and Displaced Persons, Issam Sharafeddine, will visit Damascus to meet with their Syrian counterparts to discuss the mechanism for the return of displaced persons. The newspaper noted that Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib contacted his Syrian counterpart, Faisal Miqdad, and they agreed to a forthcoming meeting to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries and what agreements have been reached by the relevant ministers regarding the return of Syrian displaced persons.
