After the Disturbances.. The Amhara Region of Ethiopia Requests Help from the Federal Government

The government of Ethiopia's Amhara region requested federal authorities, on Thursday, to "take appropriate measures" to address the violent clashes that erupted between local militias and army forces in recent days. Mobile internet communications were disrupted in some areas of the region, and flights to two cities were canceled.
