Russian Missile Kills Two in Kharkiv Region of Ukraine

Oleh Syniehubov, the governor of the Kharkiv region, stated that "a Russian missile strike on a small village in the eastern area of Ukraine resulted in the death of 4 people today, Saturday." He added: "The Russian army shelled the village of Horiiv Kozachuk, and an anti-tank guided missile hit a car that was heading towards the village near the border with Russia," noting that "4 civilians in the vehicle were killed instantly." He later updated the death toll, saying that "two volunteers, a 42-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman, were killed in the attack." Ukraine liberated several villages and towns in the Kharkiv region last fall, but since then, the Russian army has been frequently shelling the area, destroying vital infrastructure and killing and injuring residents.
