UAE: Insufficient Investments to Convert All Coal Power Plants to Gas

The UAE Minister of Energy, Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, stated today, Tuesday, that "there are not enough investments to convert all coal power plants in the world to gas." He questioned in remote statements during a sector conference in Japan: "Do we have enough investments in gas and liquefied natural gas to cover the process of converting all coal power plants in the world to gas? The answer is no."
