The Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mohsen Amanat, announced that "in light of the ongoing events in Palestine and the crimes perpetrated against Gaza and their serious repercussions," the Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, begins a tour today. He noted that this visit includes the Lebanese Republic. The Iranian Foreign Ministry later indicated that the Foreign Minister left Tehran heading to Baghdad as part of a regional tour to discuss, in particular, developments in Gaza.
