Russian Inflation Rises to 5.15%

Data from the Russian Federal State Statistics Service revealed that the annual inflation rate in the country reached 5.15% in August, up from 4.30% in July. A Reuters poll had estimated that the annual inflation would rise to 5.1% in August. Monthly inflation was recorded at 0.28% in August, while the poll had concluded it would be around 0.3%.
