Zakhrova Asks Borrell: What About Assange and Qasim?

The official spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakhrova, called on the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, to defend journalists Julian Assange and Marat Qasim. This comes in response to Borrell's statement condemning the European Union's position on the arrest of American journalist Evan Gershkovich, a reporter for The Wall Street Journal, in Moscow, and his words regarding ensuring and defending "freedom of press." She stated, "You, Borrell, must prove your words with actions. So defend Assange and Qasim."
