Dar Al-Fatwa in the Lebanese Republic announced in a statement that the beginning of the new Hijri year for 1445 AH corresponds to Wednesday, July 19, 2023. The Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Deryan, congratulated the Lebanese in general and Muslims in particular on the New Hijri Year, praying for stability, security, and peace in Lebanon and the region and asking that it be a year of goodness, favor, and blessings.
