New Dispute After the Detention of Three Officers

Serbian forces detained three police officers from Kosovo today, Wednesday, but officials from both Kosovo and Serbia identified three different areas regarding the incident of their arrest, with both countries accusing each other of crossing the border illegally. Kosovo's Prime Minister Albin Kurti demanded the immediate release of the three officers, stating that "their arrest occurred inside Kosovo, just 300 meters from the border with Serbia." He said, "the entry of Serbian forces into Kosovo is an act of aggression aimed at escalation and destabilization." He added in a press conference that "they were arrested in a village several kilometers from the border," noting that "Serbia is willing to accept an international investigation into the incident."
