She added, "China has not issued any laws, regulations, or guidance documents that prohibit the purchase and use of foreign brands, such as Apple phones." Mao emphasized that the Chinese government places great importance on information and cybersecurity, treating both domestic and foreign companies equally. She remarked, "China hopes that all mobile phone companies will comply with laws and regulations, as well as enhance data security management."
