Food Security Focus of Meeting between Army Commander and Minister of Economy

The Minister of Economy and Trade in the caretaker government, Amin Salam, visited Army Commander General Joseph Aoun. According to a statement from Salam's office, the discussion addressed "the general situation and the economic and security challenges facing Lebanon, specifically the establishment of a proactive emergency plan for food security concerning the distribution of wheat, flour, and basic foodstuffs to tackle any national crisis in light of the current developments and in anticipation of the evolution of the situation."
