Twitter Refuses to Pay Google Cloud Service Bills

The news site "Platformer" reported on Saturday that Twitter has refused to pay its bills for Google's cloud computing services, as its contract is set to be renewed this month. The report stated that before Elon Musk's acquisition of the social media platform last year, Twitter had signed a multi-year contract with Google related to spam prevention and account security, among other things. The newspaper "The Information" mentioned that Twitter has been trying to renegotiate its contract with Google since at least March. Platformer noted that Twitter hosts some services on its own server while listing others on the cloud platforms of Amazon and Google.
