The Premier League announced today, Friday, that "players, coaches, and referees will wear black armbands in the upcoming round of the competition in tribute to those affected by the conflict between Israel and Hamas." The statement read: "We hope for peace, and our sincere sympathy is with the victims, their families, and the affected communities." The upcoming round will take place between Saturday and Monday. The league also announced its intention to donate to the British Red Cross.
