The White House announced that U.S. President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will visit Hawaii on the upcoming Monday to assess the damage caused by the devastating wildfires that swept through the resort of Lahaina. The statement noted that Biden "will meet with members of the initial response teams who were deployed to the area, survivors, as well as local and federal officials."
