Lisbon to Host Women's Champions League Final 2025

UEFA announced today, Wednesday, that the final of the Women's Champions League 2025 will take place at the José Alvalade Stadium in Lisbon. The UEFA Executive Committee has also decided that the Greek capital Athens and the Polish city of Wrocław will host the finals of the European Conference League in 2024 and 2025, respectively. The matches will be held at the Agia Sophia Stadium in Athens and the WKS Śląsk Wrocław Stadium. UEFA stated, "Regarding Athens, given that this stadium is completely new and has never hosted an international competition, UEFA will provide expertise and advice until the end of 2023," adding that this was a condition for approving its use for the final match. The next meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee will be held in Cyprus in September.
