Trade sources confirmed today, Thursday, that the Kuwait Al-Zour Refinery has issued a tender to sell fuel oil for loading starting from July to December, while the refinery continues its efforts to operate its third crude distillation unit. The sources stated that the refinery offered fuel oil with a sulfur content of 0.5% for loading in the second half of 2023 in a tender that closes on June 19. They added that the quantities to be loaded each month are not fixed and will be negotiated later. In its last tender for fuel oil, the refinery sold between 100,000 and 120,000 tons for loading between June 17 and 18, according to records. The commissioning of the third unit at the refinery is expected in July.
