The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned today, Friday, about the Israeli army's call for more than one million residents of the Gaza Strip to leave their homes and head south. The ministry stated in a statement that this action would constitute "a serious violation of international humanitarian law, and would expose the lives of more than a million Palestinian citizens and their families to the risks of remaining in the open without shelter amidst dangerous humanitarian and security conditions."
