Second Drone Attack on Ain al-Asad Base in a Week

An Iraqi security source announced today, Saturday, that the defense systems at the Ain al-Asad Airbase, which hosts American and other international forces in western Iraq, intercepted and shot down two drones flying near the base. In a statement reported by the SITE intelligence group, the "Islamic Resistance in Iraq" claimed responsibility for the attack. The strike on the base in Iraq struck a runway.
