Biden Requests Additional Spending for Ukraine from Congress

U.S. President Joe Biden indicated today, Thursday, that he will send a request to Congress for approval of additional spending of nearly $40 billion, of which $24 billion is for Ukraine and other international needs related to the war. Biden stated that this amount includes $4 billion for border security and $12 billion for disaster relief.
