The head of the Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Jaja, announced that the Strong Republic bloc will not participate in tomorrow's parliamentary session, emphasizing his insistence on holding municipal and optional elections. In a press conference from Maarab, he warned that "if the extension of the municipal councils occurs, we will challenge it," and stated: "They are obstructing the presidential elections, paralyzing the country and its institutions, preventing the establishment of a real state, and are currently working to disrupt the municipal and optional elections." He pointed out that "what has happened and is happening over the past two months, in the context of preparations for the municipal elections, is unfortunately indicative of a continued game of deceit from their well-known and exposed tactics, aimed this time at avoiding municipal elections by extending the municipal and optional councils."
