Morocco has declared three days of national mourning following the devastating earthquake with a magnitude of 6.8. The royal cabinet announced in a statement issued on Saturday evening, a day after the earthquake occurred, that the national flag will be flown at half-mast across the country. It added that the armed forces will deploy rescue teams to provide affected areas with clean drinking water, food supplies, tents, and blankets.
