Italian police announced today, Monday, the arrest of 25 individuals in Italy, Belgium, and Germany during raids related to an alleged drug trafficking gang run by the 'Ndrangheta mafia. The customs police stated that "the criminal organization operates from Calabria, the homeland of 'Ndrangheta, and also has a base in Germany where it imported massive quantities of cocaine, heroin, and hashish." The suspects are accused of various crimes including criminal conspiracy and drug trafficking, with assets worth 3.8 million euros ($4.06 million) seized, including real estate, land, and companies.
