Eleven people were killed in a fire suspected to have been set deliberately targeting a bar in the border city of San Luis Colorado in northern Mexico, after a patron threw a Molotov cocktail following being expelled from the establishment. Initial investigation results indicate that "the suspect was a young man who was extremely intoxicated at the time of the attack and had been kicked out of the bar for disrespecting the women there." However, he later returned and threw a Molotov cocktail at the bar's doors, according to a statement from state prosecutors. The statement added that there were four women among the deceased, and four injured individuals are receiving treatment in the hospital. The city's mayor, Santos Gonzalez, stated that the police have arrested the suspect.
