Death of Second IRGC Advisor After Israeli Attack in Syria

The semi-official Iranian news agency "Mehr" reported on Sunday that a military advisor to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) died from his injuries following an Israeli airstrike near the Syrian capital. The agency revealed: "Mekdad Maghani was wounded during the Zionist attack early Friday and martyrdom ensued." The airstrike on Friday, marked as Israel's sixth attack in Syria in March, also killed Milad Heydari, another military advisor and officer in the IRGC, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The IRGC pledged to retaliate against the attack carried out by Israel on Friday.
