Deputy Ibrahim Mneimneh denied what was mentioned in a tweet by Deputy Mark Dou, stating on his Twitter account: "This statement is inaccurate. Out of respect for collegiality, I will stop here for now." Earlier, Dou had said: "They did not want us to participate in the council's committee, we nominated ourselves and challenged, opposed the way the committees were distributed, agreed to run as a bloc and sent our message, and all bloc members voted for each other. The system intentionally nominated an additional person against colleague Ibrahim Mneimneh and informed us that they would do so before the vote, and we decided together to continue instead of withdrawing."
