Russian Source Denies Claims of Attacking Civilian Ships in the Black Sea

The Russian ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, clarified in comments published by the Russian embassy that Moscow does not intend to attack civilian ships in the Black Sea despite reassurances from the United States. In response to this statement, the White House said that Russia may expand its targeting of Ukrainian grain export facilities to include attacks on civilian shipping traffic in the Black Sea.
