The British government has announced that the cost of the electronic travel authorization for nationals of Gulf countries and Jordan will be £10, starting next year. This move will make traveling to the UK cheaper and easier for visitors from the Gulf and Jordan. The authorization will replace the current electronic visa application, which is more expensive for Gulf visitors. Additionally, the visiting visa requirements have been removed for nationals of the Gulf Cooperation Council and Jordan wishing to visit the UK. This new fee will cover a multiple-entry visa for two years. It is noteworthy that Gulf citizens currently pay £30 per visit to the UK, while Jordanian nationals pay £100 for a visit visa. The new fee structure for Gulf and Jordan citizens is set to launch in February 2024, with plans to expand its implementation to nationals from other countries thereafter.
