Today, the Lebanese Press Editors Syndicate sent a letter to the General Union of Arab Journalists, the International Federation of Journalists, the Asia-Pacific Journalists' Union, and all the unions affiliated with these federations. In the letter, they requested these federations and unions to "raise the issue of targeting journalists, media personnel, and photographers in Southern Lebanon, which resulted in the martyrdom of photographer Issam Abdullah and injuries to four other journalists and media personnel who were fulfilling their professional duties, before the United Nations and the International Criminal Court, in order to take a clear decision condemning the Israeli forces for their premeditated and deliberate crime."
