Jumblatt: We Must Not Allow the Exploitation of the Khaleh Incident to Stir Sectarian Strife

The head of the Progressive Socialist Party, MP Teymour Jumblatt, expressed his hopes on Friday via his account on "X" that "the loss of lives among Lebanese people does not happen again," extending condolences to "those who died in Khaleh." In his tweet, Jumblatt stated that "above the wounds, we must not allow the situation to be exploited to provoke strife and to dig up the past, rather we should converge with every wise and rational stance. We hold on to national unity and await the results of the investigation to guide our actions without undermining institutions, especially the army."
