Following Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's decision to appoint media figure Galad Tzivik as a media advisor, media outlets buzzed about Tzivik's background as he previously led a fierce campaign against U.S. President Joe Biden, describing him in a prior tweet as "incompetent... and destroying America." In response to the media backlash he faced, Tzivik remarked, "I no longer hold such thoughts about Biden," according to the "Haaretz" website.
The "Arab 48" website reported that Tzivik "worked over the past year at the right-wing Channel 14 in Israel and previously at the newspaper 'Israel Hayom,' which was established to support Netanyahu. Throughout the past two years, Tzivik used his Twitter account to attack Biden and question his ability to perform his presidential duties."
In a video clip posted in July of last year, Tzivik stated that "the media is doing everything possible to hide Biden's incompetence, but the Chinese, Russians, and Iranians are not fools and understand well that there is no leader in Washington."
Previously, he wrote in a post that Biden "is slowly but confidently destroying America," referring to him as "Supreme Leader Biden" in a nod to the leaders of Iran and North Korea.
