Minister of Information Expresses Regret Over Equal Treatment of Killer and Victim

On Monday, Minister of Information in the caretaker government, Ziad Makary, sent letters to both "Reuters" and "Agence France-Presse" (AFP), expressing his "deep regret" over their notable neglect in identifying the killer of photographer Issam Abdullah and the injury of reporter Kristina Aasi, who was wounded by Israeli gunfire at the Lebanese-Palestinian border. He criticized their treatment that equated the killer and the victim. Makary confirmed that the Ministry of Information will not relent in pursuing this issue to ensure justice for the martyr Abdullah and to uphold the rights of the injured Kristina.
