Mikati: I Will Not Challenge Anyone... But What About the Atmosphere in Rabieh?

Politically, informed sources told "Anbaa" that the appointed Prime Minister Najib Mikati is well aware of his duties and that throughout his political career, he has never been a provocative figure. He has made significant efforts to form an effective government, especially in recent times. When he mentioned spending the night in Baabda until the government is formed, it was not intended as a joke with journalists, believing that President Michel Aoun might pressure MP Gebran Bassil to facilitate the birth of the government. He believes having a constitutional government is much better than having a resigned one, but Bassil continued to impose impossible conditions, leading to the current situation.

The sources added: "Accordingly, Mikati will refer to the constitution to manage the country's affairs until a president and a new government are elected, urging ministers to work within their respective domains, as the country needs the collective efforts of everyone. He is not currently calling for a government meeting; each minister is required to fulfill their duties."

Mikati confirmed in a statement yesterday morning that "we are facing a new phase and that he will not challenge anyone," but it seems that the atmosphere in Rabieh contradicts this. Is there a new disaster that the "general" wants to bid farewell to the Lebanese with?
