China: 90 Countries Confirm Attendance at Belt and Road Initiative Conference

China announced today, Thursday, that "90 countries have confirmed attendance at a conference regarding the Belt and Road Initiative scheduled for next month." Official media reported that "many foreign leaders are expected to attend, including Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Argentine President Alberto Fernández." The third international cooperation forum for the Belt and Road Initiative is set to take place in Beijing in October, according to a previous announcement by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, coinciding with the initiative's tenth anniversary this year.
