The Hebrew Channel Seven confirmed today, Thursday, that an Israeli army unit was targeted by gunfire near Tulkarm in the northern West Bank. The channel reported that the incident did not result in injuries among the soldiers, who returned fire towards the sources of the gunfire. For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades stated that "its members targeted a gathering of Israeli forces by shooting in western Tulkarm, in the West Bank." It added in a statement: "The gunfire led to injuries among Israeli forces," indicating that intense clashes took place between both sides at the location of the shooting.
