The EU's foreign policy chief, Josep Borrell, affirmed to reporters today, Tuesday, Israel's right to defend itself but noted that some of the decisions made in recent days contradict international law. Borrell stated after a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Muscat, the capital of Oman, "Israel has the right to defend itself, but this must be done in accordance with international law and humanitarian law. Some decisions contradict international law."
