Once again, in a case similar to that of player Julian Khzoui, Beirut Club has won its dispute against American player Frank Mason in the "BAT," where a ruling was issued in favor of the Lebanese club. The decision stated that the player must bear all the legal fees and pay an amount of $38,000 in damages to the club. The American player, who was registered with Beirut, failed to arrive in Lebanon for unknown reasons, prompting the club to file an urgent complaint against him in BAT.
Beirut Club President Nadim Hakim commented on the ruling, describing it as just and a restoration of the club's rights, stating, "We are a people who do not accept betrayal, even from those close to us, let alone from those who are far away." Regarding who was behind the player's failure to come to Beirut, Hakim emphasized that his focus was on winning the case as it would serve as a lesson to anyone trying to overstep their boundaries. He noted that everything has now become clear, and they will reveal more at the appropriate time.
Beirut's victory in the Mason case is considered a significant moral triumph for the club and Lebanese basketball, achieved in the largest sports court.
