Minister of Justice in Greece Aiming to Activate Bilateral Relations

This evening, the caretaker Minister of Justice, Judge Henri Khoury, met with his Greek counterpart, Georgios Floridis, at the Greek Ministry of Justice in the capital, Athens, for a familiarization visit. They discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation, particularly regarding the agreement that had been approved by the Cabinet concerning the extradition of convicted detainees between the two countries. Minister Khoury raised the possibility of assisting the Lebanese judiciary by equipping courthouses and supplying them with solar energy. Khoury and Floridis discussed the specifics of these needs in terms of financial funding and technical support, and both ministers agreed to continue working on this matter. Additionally, Khoury extended an invitation to his Greek counterpart to visit Lebanon in the near future. The Minister of Justice arrived in Athens today for a special visit.
