Beirut Fire Brigade: Unable to Control Airport Road Fire

The Beirut Fire Brigade announced in a statement that "after the fire that broke out in a fabric warehouse near Fantasy World on the airport road intensified, and despite the tremendous efforts being made by the fire brigade of the suburbs and the civil defense to extinguish it, it has so far been impossible to control it. Therefore, instructions were issued by the Governor of Beirut, Judge Marwan Aboud, and directives from the Fire Brigade Commander, Brigadier General Maher Al-Ajouz, for the Beirut Fire Brigade to intervene to provide support and assistance to the teams working on the ground. A joint plan has been established and work has begun to implement it."
